CMAC Days 2017 will be held at the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel which is located in the historical heart of Athens next to the Acropolis, and the Parthenon.

It is within walking distance from the most fascinating sights in Athens and very close to the Acropolis metro station (200 m).

Getting to/from the Athens International Airport and the city center, located about 20 km (12 miles) east can be achieved via:

Tip: In order to get to the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel, we recommend taking X95 and then the red metro line until the Acropolis station.

All buses run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with frequency varying according to day, time and season. Click on the links above to see timetables as of now.

One-way travel time estimates: X93 (65 min), X95 (70 min), X96 (90 min), X97 (100 min). Allow sufficient time to travel as traffic conditions may cause delays.

  • Metro: Take Metro Line 3 (Aghia Marina – Douk. Plakentias – Airport), which connects the Athens airport with the city center. Trains run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The trip from/to the Airport to Syntagma station (Athens center) lasts 40 minutes. See the Metro timetable to the airport here.

Tip: We recommend that you buy an ATH.ena Ticket and charge it with two tourist 3-day tickets at the ticket offices in Athens International Airport. That way you can easily travel unlimited arround the city of Athens by buses, trolley-buses, tram, suburban railway or the 3 metro/ lines for 6 days and move to and from the airport to the city center.
  • Suburban Railway: Proastiakos connects Athens Airport with Athens Central Station (also known as Stathmos Larisis) and SKA, and through them to the national railway network. Trains run 7 days a week. Trains train from the Airport to Athens Central Station run on the hour at xx:15, the first at 06:15 and the last at 22:15. Trains from the Airport to SKA run on the hour at xx:52, from 05:52 to 20:52.

    Tip: When in service, the Proastiakos departs the Airport at xx:15 and xx:52. You can take it to Doukissis Plakentias station, where you can change trains (platforms are on different levels) and continue to the city center (Metro Line 3 to Egaleo), using the sameticket.
  • Taxi: A taxi from the airport to the city center costs a flat rate of €38 from 5:00 a.m. to midnight, and €54 from midnight to 5:00 a.m.
