Aperiodic 2022

Aperiodic 2022 (10th International Conference on Aperiodic Crystals) will be held on June 19-24, 2022, in Akira Suzuki Hall of Sapporo campus at Hokkaido University, Japan. Aperiodic 2022 is the latest in a series of conferences supported by the Commission on Aperiodic Crystals (CAC) of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr). These conferences are held essentially every three years, with the most recent meetings in Ames Iowa (the USA, 2018), Prague (Czech Republic, 2015), Cairns (Australia, 2012), Liverpool (UK, 2009), Zao (Japan, 2006), Belo Horizonte (Brazil, 2003) and Nijmegen (The Netherlands, 2000). Aperiodic 2022 is the second of this series held in Japan. This time the conference will be held under the auspices of Hypermaterials project, running in Japan since 2019 for 5 years, that includes studies of quasicrystals, approximants and incommensurate structures.
